Great staff and a very friendly place with brilliant service all round.

This is my second visit at Evington Eyecare and it was wonderful. I took my daughter in for an appointment with Hass, the Optician. He was great, he was able to fit my daughter in very quickly as I was worried about an issue with her eyes. He was reassuring and checked her eyes thoroughly to ensure her eyes were ok. Very pleased with the experience and would highly recommend.

Had my first eye test with Hass since I was a teenager and he made it a very comfortable process. He also looks after my children's eye care too and I trust his with all my family's eye health, thank you for the professional service.

I had an excellent experience at this optician. He is incredibly friendly, patient, and brilliant with children, which made the whole visit comfortable and stress-free. His examination was very thorough, taking the time to carefully check everything and ensure nothing was missed. What really stood out was how clearly he explained every step of the process and the results. He made sure we understood what was happening and why, answering any questions with care and professionalism. It’s clear he truly values his patients and takes pride in his work. Overall, the service was outstanding. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely caring optician—especially families with children.

Despite not being a customer of this optician, they were very helpful and willing to provide a free service when I dropped some spectacles and the lens popped out. The specs were speedily repaired and they advised that the lens was too small for the frame, hence the reason it came out so easily. So grateful for your help

Been using Evington Eyecare for several years now. But my prescription had lapsed by over year. Every visit has been a pleasure, even for my ear appointment! Latest eye tests were INCREDIBLY thorough with the most dazzling (!) technology being used. The 3D photo/scan of my whole retina was astonishing and so interesting. Then I chose new frames. One pair in particular practically jumped off the display! Tried them on and instantly knew they pretty much had my name written on them. It required some "bravery" but I went for it. Ordered ✅! I then had a "fitting" done for these. This was assisted by an amazing machine that scanned my head in multiple poses whilst wearing the new frames. The human element was still crucial and expertly carried out. 1 week later (and a week earlier than expected!) I got a call to collect my new prescription glasses. I was very excited! Upon arrival I was given the glasses and asked to try a few basic reading tests from various distances. These new "eyes and boost" variety of bifocals are ABSOLUTELY ASTONISHING!!!! I could read 4pt text at multiple distances. Something that was pure fantasy previously. I am the happiest man on earth today. Thank you for looking after me so patiently and thoroughly. So friendly too.

My Wife, my son and I have been very impressed with the thorough eye examinations undertaken by Evington Eyecare and the urgent reaction to issues found which has ensured that prompt specialist action has avoided long term damage. Highly recommended.

I cannot praise Evington Eyecare enough! Their level of care, patience and expertise is something I haven’t experienced before at other opticians. I can’t fault them. Just choose Evington Eyecare - you won’t be disappointed!

They have such great knowledge and attention to detail. Saf and Shakira were so helpful and patient. They explained everything in a way that I could understand. No pressure, just really great reliable advice and care. Far better than my previous experience at a well known chain. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely independent optician based on my experience with Evington Eyecare today. I’m switching over to them based on my experience today.

We as a family have had a fantastic experience with Evington Eye Care on Downing Drive Leicester. We were all very well looked after in a private setting. Everything was A* all the staff are very freindly and caring they talk you through each step of the way. We was never rushed and they listened to us very carefully. Whatever questions we needed to ask, we were answered in a proffesional manner, this made us all feel very reassured and at ease. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for an opptician there is nothing to fault. Was looking for a local opticians for my mum who does not like busy environments. Found Evington Eyecare who were able to book appointment for the same week. Welcomed by the brillant receptionist who from start to finish was so kind and lovely to my mum. Easy access from reception to testing room, clean and welcoming environment. The optician was fantastic, explained the issues and talked through the process of our next steps. Very patient, kind and answered all my questions. Thank you. Booked in both my daughters online and was seen on the same day for a NHS child eye test. From arrival until the end we were met with warmth and professionalism. My 4 year old was nervous before the appointment but left smiling and super happy (especially with her unicorn sticker). Our optometrist was really good with children and made them laugh a lot. Above all he was super patient and understanding with them. Great service- we'll be back next Summer for three sets of eye tests for the kids.

We have been coming here for many years. Everyone there is excellent! They make you feel at home - they aresuper friendly. On Hasnains advice we got the myopia glasses for my child, and since using them the myopia has not increased at all!

Great efficient and fast service. Very accomodating and nice advice

Just had my eye check up and I am very pleased with the service. I had the Zest procedure for dry eyes in June 2024 and have seen a vast improvement in my eyes.

Had sudden issues with my left eye. Was seen the same morning by Hassnain, scans done and advised to go to Eye Casualty at LRI. Also referred immediately for a cataract operation. Very professional service.
