At Evington Eyecare, we take the time to ensure you receive the best care possible. We do not rush our appointments. Our thorough eye tests will monitor the health of your eyes and check your vision using the latest optical equipment.

Saf graduated from City University, London in 2002 and completed his training in Leicester the following year. His career spans across two decades in a mixture of settings, largely supporting the development of graduate Optometrists. He loves to leave a lasting impression, you'll tend to find him smiling, most of the time!
Hass graduated from Aston University in 2016 and completed his training in 2017. He’s worked in a range of settings including specialist Hospital cataract clinics where he completed his Therapeutic Independent Prescribing qualification in 2024. He plays an active role in the profession as Vice Chairman of the Leicestershire and Rutland Local Optical Committee and as Trustee and Council Member for the College of Optometrists. Hass had his first ever eye test at Evington Eyecare aged 6 and you’ll often find him on the tennis court or showcasing his accents!
Sharon started out her Optics career two decades ago and qualified as a DO in 2012. She joined Evington Eyecare in Nov 2023 and is passionate about providing a personalised service to all our patients. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her children, keeping active and enjoying various international delicacies.
Shakira joined the Evington family in August 2024 and brings a wealth of optical experience from overseas having worked across Australia and Canada. She works tirelessly at making sure the eyewear experience is enjoyable and fun for all involved, be it adults or children! Interesting fact about Shakira, she's a black belt in Kickboxing!
I had an excellent experience at this optician. He is incredibly friendly, patient, and brilliant with children, which made the whole visit comfortable and stress-free. His examination was very thorough, taking the time to carefully check everything and ensure nothing was missed. What really stood out was how clearly he explained every step of the process and the results. He made sure we understood what was happening and why, answering any questions with care and professionalism. It’s clear he truly values his patients and takes pride in his work. We as a family have had a fantastic experience with Evington Eye Care on Downing Drive Leicester. We were all very well looked after in a private setting. Everything was A* all the staff are very freindly and caring they talk you through each step of the way. We was never rushed and they listened to us very carefully. Whatever questions we needed to ask, we were answered in a proffesional manner, this made us all feel very reassured and at ease. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for an opptician there is nothing to fault. Awesome customer service and optician was so attentive as well. Very profession glasses were ready in less than a week. Also you have a range of options for frames youre not stuck with typical frames. Definitely worth it. I 100%recommend
